The picturesque Zakopane is a town located 100km south from Krakow at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Zakopane as well called “the winter capital of Poland” or “Little Switzerland” which is the highest located town in Poland (about 750 meters above sea level). The Tatra Mountains are the highest of Polish mountains called “the Polish Alps” with the highest peak “Rysy” 2499 meters above sea level. Beautiful landscape of the region, preserved wildlife, timber architecture; old wooden houses, churches designed in “Zakopane Style” together with local “Highlanders’ Culture and Folklore make this town the most popular Mountain Resort in Poland and Central Europe.

Itinerary of Zakopane Tour from Krakow
