Standard Gdansk Axe Match

  • Elke reglementaire wedstrijd bestaat uit 3 ronden:
  • Elke ronde bestaat uit 5 geworpen bijlen per ronde;
  • Speler moet 2 van de 3 rondes winnen om de wedstrijd te winnen;
  • In een reglementaire competitie gooien de spelers altijd alle drie de rondes, zelfs als één speler de eerste twee rondes heeft gewonnen;
  • Het bijhouden van het totaal aantal punten over 15 worpen in alle reglementaire wedstrijden is verplicht;
  • Als een speler de eerste ronde wint en de volgende 2 rondes gelijk speelt, wordt dit nog steeds beschouwd als een gewonnen wedstrijd, omdat hij de meerderheid van de rondes in de wedstrijd heeft gewonnen.
  • Als de spelers aan het eind van de drie ronden gelijk staan, volgt er een Big Axe tiebreaker. Er is sprake van een gelijke stand als alle drie de rondes in een gelijke stand resulteren; elke speler heeft 1 ronde gewonnen, 1 ronde verloren en 1 ronde gelijk gespeeld, alle drie de rondes zijn gelijk.

Grote bijl tie-breakers

  • Een Big Axe ronde wordt gespeeld in sudden death mode:
  • De spelers gebruiken steen, papier, schaar om te bepalen wie eerst gooit: de winnaar kiest;
  • Spelers wisselen elkaar af met één worp per grote bijl ronde;
  • In het begin, zolang de Grote Bijl in het doel blijft steken dat blauwe verf breekt of binnen de blauwe cirkel blijft, telt de worp als goed;
  • Als de ene speler goed gooit en de andere slecht, wint de goede worp;
  • Als beide spelers een slechte worp gooien dan gaan ze opnieuw;
  • Als beide spelers een goede worp gooien dan gaan ze opnieuw.
  • Het spel gaat verder in sudden death volgens de apparaat scoringsregels tot er een winnaar is.

Axe throwing is a fun and competitive sport where participants throw axes at a target, aiming to hit the bullseye or come as close as possible. It’s a great way to test your accuracy and have a good time with friends.

Do I need prior experience to participate?
No prior experience is necessary! Our professional instructors will guide you through the basics and ensure you have a great time.

How long does the axe throwing session last?
Each session lasts 90 minutes, providing ample time for practice and friendly competition.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for safety. Additionally, avoid loose or flowing garments.

Is there a minimum age requirement?
Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in axe throwing activities.

Can I book for a solo session?
Yes, solo travelers can book a session, however they need to pay for the whole lane.

How many people can participate at once?
A maximum of 5 people can throw axes per lane, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Is alcohol allowed during the session?
For safety reasons, we do not permit drunken behavior during the sessions. We recommend enjoying alcohol responsibly after your axe throwing experience.
